Project Description
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
31 August, 2025
ST. CROIX\ST THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Benefit Coordinators’ Traveling Team will return to the U.S. Virgin Islands this September to meet one-on-one with active and retired Federal and Postal employees seeking trusted guidance on their federal benefits and retirement plans.
The team will be in St. Croix from September 5–8, and St. Thomas from September 8–12, offering private appointments only.
For over a decade, The Benefit Coordinators have been a valuable resource for Federal and Postal workers across the U.S. Virgin Islands. With a deep understanding of the unique retirement systems and benefit challenges faced by government employees, the team helps answer critical questions about federal benefits, service time, early retirement options, and how to build a retirement plan you can’t outlive.
This year, Federal Benefits Specialists Melinda Chase and Sharon Alford will be leading the visit.
“This is the 10th year for the team. Many Federal and Postal employees report they are extremely happy that the team visits the islands when it is so hard to get assistance otherwise,” said John Sanders, Agency Director for The Benefit Coordinators.
Appointments are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Federal and Postal employees are encouraged to book early.
