A Potential Purge of Federal Government Employees Who Speak Against Trump Could Arrive Shortly

The White House Administration confirmed on Monday that it would be purging disloyal government employees from their positions.
After several reports came to light alleging that the Trump administration and its allies were creating lists containing the details of ‘disloyal’ government employees, Hogan Gidley, the official White House spokesman, stated that they were actively searching for government employees who were acting in a manner not in line with the President’s wishes and warned that strict action would be taken against such employees for their behavior.
Gidley didn’t specify whether this new move would be taken only against political government appointees or whether it would extend to career federal government employees as well.
If this move goes through, it could have far-reaching consequences for employees at the federal level who do not support the decisions made by the White House.
