Yes, annuities for retirement offer safety and security that other financial services products cannot offer. Annuities, while an employee is working, is generally not a good idea. The potential returns offered by the Thrift Savings Plan is a better fit for the working federal employee.

The Benefit Coordinators was informally established in the early 1990’s. Formally, we established in 1996. We offered benefit review services primarily to Postal Service employees and offered a single life product.

The Benefit Coordinators does not offer securities. For the working employee the TSP offers a very good option for retirement fund growth. Retirement securities do not offer the safety or security required for a retired federal employee.
